Marko Njegić, Croatia
(1979) is the most active Croatian film critic of the younger generation who works for the daily newspaper ‘Slobodna Dalmacija’. He was the editor of the monthly film magazine ‘Hollywood’, and collaborated with Split Film Festival and Mediterranean Film Festival Split, filmology and film review magazine ‘Hrvatski filmski ljetopis’ (The Croatian Cinema Chronicle) and the internet site popcorn.hr in addition to being a member of The Council for Film and Media Culture for the City of Split. Njegić was a jury member for Mediterranean Film Festival Split in 2012 (where he also held a film review workshop in 2014), Vukovar Film Festival (2012), FreeNetWorld International Film Festival (2013), Avvantura Film Festival (2014), Dubrovnik Film Festival (2014), Belgrade FEST, Dalmatia Film Festival and Liburnia Film Festival (2016). His first book ‘FILMoteka’ was published at the end of 2014 as a printed ‘best of’ of his continuous work as a film critic for the past ten years.Jan Schomburg, Germany

An award-winning author whose novels have been translated to several languages. Born in 1972 in Brčko, Bosnia and Hercegovina. Studied literature at the University of Rijeka but because of the war moved to Norway in 1993. Acquired his Masters degree in South-Slavic literature at the University of Oslo. Worked as part-time lecturer of South-Slavic literature and languages at the same university 2001 – 2006. Since 2006 he is focused on his literary work: published three novels (På vei til ingensteds / Nowhereman, En bedre slutt / A Happier Ending) and one collection of short stories. In some sense I could say that I am a Bosnian, a Croatian, a Serbian and a Norwegian writer in one person. Also translated Norwegian authors to Croatian. Since 2008 he is a member of Norwegian Writer Association (Norsk forfatterforening) and since 2011 a member of Croatian Society of Writers (HDP). Worked with director Moku Teraoka as a screenplay writer and producer for the documentary film From Tokyo to the Morava River –a Japanese Meets the Balkans¬.
