In the midst of the daily encounters and mismatches, the construction of big real estate enterprises modifies the city architecture. Meanwhile, time engraves its marks.

Vado Vergara
Graduated in Audiovisual Production from PUCRS – Pontificia Universidade Católica. “Flowers” is Vado Vergara’s graduation project and debut film as a filmmaker: director, scriptwriter, editor and sound designer. At the time of the production, Vado Vergara was studying the hybrid forms in cinema, fiction and documentary, and the different possibilities of image when exploring the relation between cinema and painting. “Flowers” has been nominated for Cinematography Awards at Watersprite: The Cambridge International Student Film Festival, in Cambridge, and has a Special Jury Commendation at Brighton Rocks, both festivals in United Kingdom. Besides that, has been selected in 7th Festival Primavera do Cine en Vigo (Spain), 14th FEST – New Directors / New Films Festival (Portugal), 13th Festival de Cinema Latino-Americano de São Paulo (Brazil), 18th Seoul International NewMedia Festival (South Korea), 23rd Split Film Festival / International Festival of New Film (Croatia) and many others festivals in different regions of the world.
