HAIKU
A man gets sexually violated on a drunken night. While unpleasant and traumatic things happen to people, the ability to cope with it by and by amidst its recurring memories is both the cursed fate and the strength of the humans. Nature in its entire spectacle has been its silent witness for ages- bringing into being a timeless, all pervasive haiku.

Kumar Mayank
Studied engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi and worked a few jobs before quitting it to pursue filmmaking. He assisted on and off in ad and full length films in Mumbai and acted in a few short and feature films.
Haiku is his first short narrative film as a director.
