THE DEATH OF FATHER MEN
Russian Federation, 2018, 12’28”
Alexander Vladimirovich Men was a Russian Orthodox priest, theologian and writer. His influence is still widely felt and his legacy continues to grow among Christians both in Russia and abroad. He was murdered early on Sunday morning, 9 September 1990, by an axe-wielding assailant just outside his home of Semkhoz, Russia.
“The Death… ” is a neurocrime-story based on the principles of machine learning, where the reference information on the murder of Father Men is used as the initially given parameters, and the vast data on the rail ways and rail transport is taken as training material for the neural network.
