A young upper-class girl, drug addict and failed, gives birth totally alone in the middle of one her breakdowns. For days, she precariously breast-feeds the baby and calms its uneasiness with an old family pacifier. Unable to give proper care to her newborn child, she finally sells him to a disturbing woman who works in the child trade business. The young girl will soon regret her decision and she will try to get her baby back. But to do so, she will have to overcome her weaknesses and face her deepest fears.
Juanma Bajo Ulloa
Vitoria-Gasteiz (Basque Country). At the age of 17, he founded his own film production company, Gasteizko Zinema, shooting shorts in Super 8 and 16 mm. “El Reino de Víctor” (1989), the first Goya awarded by the Spanish Academy of Cinematography for a short film.

“Alas de Mariposa” (1991), Golden Shell at the San Sebastián Film Festival, and awarded at different international festivals. Awarded with 3 Goya from the Spanish Academy of Cinematography.
“La Madre Muerta” (1994) Premiered at the Venice Film Festival. Awarded in Montreal, Fantasporto, Stockholm, Sao Paulo, Puerto Rico, etc. Nominated for 4 Goyas from the Spanish Academy of Cinemtography.
“Airbag” (1996) cult comedy and historical box office record in Spain. Nominated for 4 Goyas from the Spanish Academy of Cinematography.
“Frágil” (2005) Premiered in competition at the Cairo Film Festival, and selected at the Mons, Mar de Plata, Havana, etc. festivals. Best Film at the Chennai Festival.
“Rey Gitano” (2015) local and irreverent comedy selected at the San Sebastián Festival.
“Baby” (2020) Premiered in competition at the Sitges, Tallinn, Cairo, Bifan, Santa Bárbara or Transilvania Film Festival, and winner of various national and international awards. Nominated for 2 Goya Awards.
