The Voyager probe is about to leave our solar system. At the same time, on Earth, Alain Diaw begins his first day of work in a prestigious automobile company. He has come a long way, and is also aiming for the unknown.
Soufiane Adel
was born in 1981 in Algeria and arrived in France when he was 8. It was while attending a design school, ENSCI – Les Ateliers, that he discovered cinema. In 2004, he decides to film his father: it will be his first short film, CLOSED NIGHTS, which will debut at Clermont-Ferrand International Film Festival. In 2007, he directed KAMEL COMMITTED SUICIDE SIX TIMES, HIS FATHER IS DEAD, which was selected at Cannes – Directors’ Fortnight and ACID in 2008, as well as in many festivals around the world. In 2009, he co-directed with Angela Terrail, ON THE HEAD OF BERTHA BOXCAR (Clermont-Ferrand, Pantin, Ciné-banlieue, Indielisboa…) which broadcasted on ARTE. In 2013, he made his second documentary GO FORTH which deals with the story of his Algerian grandmother, screened in dozens of international festivals (Cinéma du réel, Rencontres Paris-Berlin, Lussas, RIDM Montréal…)
