Guilherme Xavier Ribeiro, 32, is a brazilian director and screenwriter from Assis, São Paulo. He worked as a music journalist reporter at MTV Brasil, where he produced music interviews and directed his first feature film, the documentary “Sabotage Nós” (2013). In 2014, he directed the short-documentary “Sobre Coragem” (A White Man in a Land of Courage), selected at Curta Cinema – Rio de Janeiro International Short Film Festival and winner of the “Best Director” award at the Cinema Festival of Três Passos-RS. In 2019, he directed the 4 episodes documentary show “Bulls and Human Animals”. In 2021 he founded the Oeste Cooperativa Audiovisual, an audiovisual cooperative of filmmakers from Brazilian countryside.
